I’ve been where you are.
My story started at my own kitchen counter
I didn’t always feel at ease in the kitchen or in my body. Like many of the folks I work with now, I spent years stuck in cycles of disordered eating and overthinking, feeling like I was always falling short. ADHD, CPTSD, and anxiety only added to the challenge—feeding myself constantly felt more complicated than it should be.
I went to culinary school not to become a fancy chef, but to find a new way to relate to food. It helped me reconnect with creativity and ease in the kitchen, and that’s what I bring to the table for others today.
Things finally started to change when I stopped chasing perfection and focused on what actually worked for ME—my brain, my body, and my life.
I created The Counter to be the space I needed back then—rooted in nourishment, flexibility, ease, and community. Whether you’re here for everyday guidance or a deeper reset, you’re in good company.
